About Me
A Licensed Professional Here to Guide You
I am a warm, open, practical, and down-to-earth psychologist experienced in adult and adolescent psychotherapy. I provide individualized treatment utilizing the latest evidenced-based processes for a range of modern day challenges. My clinical approach emphasizes neuropsychological principles to help encourage experiential emotional learning and transformation. I specialize in client-centered and multicultural informed treatments for anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, relational problems, and managing chronic pain.

One of my core values is being of service. This ethic of being of service is vital to my role as a collaborator and ally in helping you achieve your goals and improve your wellbeing.
I received my Doctorate in Psychology, PsyD, from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco and received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California Santa Cruz. I completed my Internship at San Mateo Medical Center and my Post-Doctoral training at Mission Psychology Group. I have been serving clients in the Bay Area for over 10 years and have become an expert with helping my patients manage the stressors of living and working in our demanding culture.

In my free time, I am an avid musician (that's me playing with my former band) and I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and friends.
My therapeutic approach
Personalized Attention for All Your Needs
My therapeutic approach, at its core, is based on neuropsychological principles that influence how we learn and maintain negative and positive thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My goal is to tailor a therapeutic experience that allows for your experiential brain to create lasting neurological change that will transform your capacity for distress tolerance and improve your sense of feeling engaged in life.

I am trained in many different evidenced based modalities. I find it is important to draw on multiple perspectives and different techniques to help create a tailored therapeutic approach to your needs. I am trained in the following evidenced based modalities: Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodynamic therapy.
